Safety Information
Inspections
Required inspections are outlined in both the appropriate JLG Operators & Safety manual and Service & Maintenance manual. These inspections are required not only by JLG, but may also be required by industry standards and government regulations. Please contact the JLG Warranty Department for the correct forms to use while completing the inspections.
General Safety Inquiries
Inquiries regarding standards compliance, design criteria, or overall machine safety should be directed to the JLG Product Safety & Reliability Department. A written request must be submitted in cases where a written response is required. Each request must include all pertinent information (e.g., contact name, telephone number, address, etc.). The Product Safety & Reliability Department will evaluate each inquiry and submit an appropriate written response to the originator.
Product Incident Reporting
The JLG Product Safety & Reliability Department must be notified immediately in all instances where JLG products have been involved in an accident leading to personal injury or death, or when substantial property damage has occurred.
