Reconditioning: Aerial work platforms in the range of 5 to 7 years old are primary candidates for our reconditioning process. There are several levels of value to this process — ranging from a basic reconditioning to more extensive needs, such as engine rebuild, conversion from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive, or reconfigurations. All JLG reconditioning work is backed by our six-month parts and labor warranty, and includes the annual inspection and field safety bulletin updates.
Why should a machine be reconditioned?
- Reduce operating costs to like-new levels
- Increase machine productivity and performance
- More economical than repairing systems individually
- Increases resale value and / or rental rates from 15% to 50% depending on condition
- Extends the useful life of an asset
- Preserves capital
- Can help equalize fleet age
- Improves your company’s image
